RFID Readers
An RFID Reader is a piece of equipment that is used to question an RFID tag. The reader has an antenna that sends out radio signals and the RFID tag or chip replies by transferring back its data.
What is an RFID reader?
An RFID reader characteristically contains a module or a section (transmitter and receiver), a control unit and a coupling element (antenna). The reader has three main operational duties. These are energizing, demodulating and decoding signals. Reader Collisions
Reader collisions take place in RFID systems where the coverage region of one RFID reader overlaps or coincides with that of another reader. This results into a couple of problems:
